Clarify when and how citizenship was lost

First establish prior German citizenship and the precise loss date. Collect old German passports, foreign naturalization and release documents, and residence information. For people habitually resident abroad, the Federal Office of Administration explains section 13 StAG; section 14 concerns other special applications from abroad. Family history alone is not proof.
